 Gender Studies
Post-Graduate Program For Teachers

Erasmus Mundus Master’s Degree in Women’s and Gender Studies (GEMMA) is an international didactic project in gender and women’s studies whose paramount idea is based upon the exchange of students from EU countries as well as from outside the EU among partner universities.

The program is addressed to students interested in gender and women’s studies, issues of equality, diversity and migration as well as ethnic, sexual, or religious minorities in contemporary Europe.

Given that the program requires its participants to study at two partner universities (the third semester is devoted to mobility), GEMMA offers a unique opportunity to acquire professional qualifications by gathering experience from different countries and academic centers. Graduating from the two-year interdisciplinary program, students earn their Master degree and a double diploma in gender and women’s studies recognized by all partner universities.

Partner institutions:
University of Granada, Spain (coordinator)
University of Bologna, Italy
Central European University, Budapest, Hungary
University of Hull, Great Britain
University of £ód¼, Poland
University of Oviedo, Spain
University of Utrecht, The Netherlands
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, USA
